Meet Dr Bhatti, DMD
Dr. Bhatti (pronounced ‘body’ just like the human ‘body’) grew up north of the border in Ottawa, Ontario. Shortly before high school, he moved to the Bay Area, California. Dr. Bhatti attended the University of California, Davis, receiving a degree in Biological Sciences with an emphasis in Neurobiology, Physiology and Behavior. Dr. Bhatti then moved to Boston, MA where he attended Tufts University and received his Doctorate in Dental Medicine (DMD).
After dental school, Dr. Bhatti completed a two year Pediatric Dental Residency through NYU Lutheran Medical Center on the eastern shore of Maryland. Yearning a return to the northeast, Dr. Bhatti moved with his family to the capital region and worked as an associate in private practice. Recruited by several physicians and dentists, Dr. Bhatti began practicing at an office in Johnstown where he realized the immense need for children’s dental specialty services in the Mohawk Valley.
Dr. Bhatti is honored to establish the first pediatric dental practice in the area. He also joined the hospital staff at Nathan Littauer Hospital in Gloversville and St. Luke's Hospital in Utica. Dr. Bhatti is passionate about helping children overcome their fears of the dentist and instilling a positive dental experience. When not working, Dr. Bhatti enjoys spending time with his wife and children, is a big foodie, loves the outdoors and is an avid sports fan.
